This week let’s continue our overview of the new content on Sorosoro’s website !
Soropedia
Today, let us fly to the Indian Ocean and talk about Reunionese Creole! (only available in French at the moment)
Spoken by about 600 000 people, this French-based creole is the mother tongue of three quarters of the population of the Reunion Island ! Despite not having an official status, the language is used in every day life and some medias and structures exist to make it live on. More information about this language the sheet !
Other languages sheets have also been added: Poitevin-Saintongeais, Kven, Bekwel … which we will talk about in upcoming posts.
