Our « Language Encyclopaedia» brings in 6 new language description sheets (some of them in French, translation in progress…):

– two Australian languages of the Macro Pama Nyungan family: Dhay’yi and Yanyuwa

– two languages spoken in South America: Tehuelche, last of the Chon languages, spoken in the south of Argentinian Patagonia, and Yamana (or Yagan), « the most southern language in the world », spoken Tierro des Fuego (Chili). Both of these languages, the last two Amerindian lanugages of southern Patagonia, are reaching extinction.

– two languages of Paraguay: Maká (Matacoane family) and Ache (Tupi family)
