The Batchelor Institute of Tertiary Education in Alice Springs works in favour of Australia’s indigenous peoples, and aims at engaging them in the development of appropriate responses to issues of cultural survival, maintenance, renewal and transformation, within the context of the national and international social, political and economic order.
The Institute’s Centre for Australian Languages and Linguistics (CALL) is currently looking for a lecturer. This position assists in the management of the operations of the Centre
and participates in the preparation and delivery of VET certificate and Higher Education courses in Language and Linguistics.
1 year fixed term appointment commencing ASAP – Alice Springs
Remuneration Academic Level B – $69,686 – $82,753

The Bundiyarra Irra Wangga Language Program based in Geraldton is looking for two experienced, motivated senior linguists to further community involvement in language maintenance and effectively manage the program’s language activities.
Required qualifications: highly developed linguistic analysis and staff management skills essential.
Salary: $70,000 pa plus attractive salary sacrifice options.
