{"id":32551,"date":"2010-11-12T14:57:46","date_gmt":"2010-11-12T13:57:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sorosoro.org\/?p=32551"},"modified":"2010-11-12T10:52:13","modified_gmt":"2010-11-12T09:52:13","slug":"november-12-16-2010-ctldc-consortium-on-training-in-language-documentation-and-conservation-symposium-and-meeting-tokyo-japan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sorosoro.org\/en\/2010\/11\/november-12-16-2010-ctldc-consortium-on-training-in-language-documentation-and-conservation-symposium-and-meeting-tokyo-japan\/","title":{"rendered":"November 12-16 2010 : CTLDC (Consortium on Training in Language Documentation and Conservation) symposium and meeting, Tokyo, Japan."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Created in 2009 by two linguists known for their commitment to the revitalization of endangered languages, <strong>Carol Genetti, from the University of California, and Margret Florey<\/strong>, from Australia, the CTLDC held, as we had then <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sorosoro.org\/en\/19th-20th-june-2010-meeting-of-the-consortium-on-training-in-language-documentation-and-conservation-ctldc-eugene-oregon-usa\">announced<\/a>,\u00a0its first great meeting this year on June 19th and 20th.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This month the CTLDC will hold a public symposium in Tokyo (November 12th and 13th), followed by a two-day meeting of CTLDC planning group members from the Asia-Pacific region (November 15th and 16th).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The symposium&#8217;s theme will be \u00ab Models for Capacity Development in Language Documentation and Conservation \u00bb.
