Organized jointly by the Laboratoire d\u2019Anthropologie Sociale<\/em> and the GDRI “Anthropologie et histoire des arts<\/em>“, this symposium aims to question the space occupied and the role played by researchers<\/strong> in their relation with the populations<\/strong> they intend to work on.<\/p>\n

\n

The first day will mainly question restitution and collaboration with native populations, and the issues of heritage, museological experimentation and the Internet as sources of new forms of script.<\/p>\n

\n

The second, focused on the conditions of audiovisual production in anthropology and on “what can be said, shown, and what cannot”<\/strong>, will conclude with a round table on the topics of anthropological involvment and the misunderstandings in reception within processes of restitution to the general public<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n

The scientific direction of this symposium is led by Barbara Glowczewski (CNRS<\/em> anthropologist and member of the Sorosoro Scientific Board) and Mich\u00e8le Fi\u00e9loux (research associate and director). Sorosoro Director Rozenn Milin will take part in the final discussions on December 3.<\/p>\n
