{"id":29275,"date":"2010-10-27T21:28:00","date_gmt":"2010-10-27T19:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sorosoro.org\/?p=29275"},"modified":"2010-10-15T21:30:45","modified_gmt":"2010-10-15T19:30:45","slug":"october-27-29-2010-fourth-symposium-on-language-policy-merida-yucatan-mexico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sorosoro.org\/en\/2010\/10\/october-27-29-2010-fourth-symposium-on-language-policy-merida-yucatan-mexico\/","title":{"rendered":"October 27-29, 2010: Fourth Symposium on Language Policy, Merida, Yucatan, Mexico."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The National Autonomous University of Mexico (Department for Applied Linguistics of the Foreign Languages Education Center, and \u201cPeninsular Center of Human and Social Science\u201d) will soon be holding the fourth edition of their Symposium on Language Policy in Merida, Yucatan, on the theme \u201c<strong>Linguistic processes and globalization<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This symposium aims to identify and analyse the relationships between language and the process of globalization. The question of education, and especially <strong>mother tongue education<\/strong>, will be holding a large part of the discussions.
