More detailed information available <a href=\"http:\/\/logos.uoregon.edu\/infield2010\/home\/index.php\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">InField 2010 will start with a two week long<strong> series of workshops, from June 21 to July 2. <\/strong>The subjects approached will be as diverse as the stages of language documentation, field methodology, various tools like Toolbox or ELAN,\u00a0 the production of a grant proposal, pedagogy, ethics, etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following this first week, the <strong>Lab Week, from July 5 to 9<\/strong>, will enable participants to work on their own projects with the help and advice of InField team members.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>From July 5 to 30, 4 weeks of Field Training<\/strong> will allow participants to put into use the skills developped during the two week workshop sessions. The exercise will be based on Uyghur (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sorosoro.org\/en\/turkic-language-family\">Turkic family<\/a>),\u00a0 Wapishana (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sorosoro.org\/en\/arawak-languages\">Arawak family<\/a>) and Northern Paiute (<a href=\"..\/famille-des-langues-uto-azteques\">Uto-Aztecan family<\/a>), thanks to the notable presence of native speakers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the same time, <strong>from June 25 to 27,<\/strong> participants will be able to attend a series of conferences on several native american languages (<strong>Athabascan, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sorosoro.org\/en\/salishan-languages\">Salish<\/a> and Hokan <\/strong>languages).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">****************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Alongside with these workshops, participants will have the opportunity to attend the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uoregon.edu\/~nwili\/Summerinstitute\/summer.shtml\">13th edition of the NILI Summer<\/a> (Northwest Indian Language Institute) from June 21 to July 2, <\/em><em>as well as the 17th <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uoregon.edu\/~nwili\/SILS\/SILS.shtml\">Stabilizing Indigenous Languages Symposium<\/a> (SILS) also organised by the\u00a0 NILI, from June 25 to 27.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>See also our recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sorosoro.org\/en\/21th-june-to-2nd-july-2010-13rd-edition-of-the-nili-summer-institute-and-17th-sils-stabilizing-indigenous-languages-symposium-universite-d%E2%80%99oregon-eugene-usa\">article regarding this event<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>The brand new Consortium on Training in Language Documentation and Conservation (CTLDC) will be held just before the InField.
