October 7 – 10, 2010: An interdisciplinary conference called \u201cMinority Languages in Europe:\u00a0Successes and Challenges\u201d will be held at the University of Indiana at the instigation of Julie Auger<\/a>, linguist\/sociolinguist from Quebec.<\/p>\n

\n

The objective of the organizers is to gather researchers and figures from various backgrounds (linguists, historians, politicians, authors, artists\u2026) to discuss the issue of so-called \u201cminority\u201d languages in 21st<\/sup> Century Europe.<\/p>\n

\n

Potential speakers are invited to <\/a>submit their paper suggestions online<\/a> by April 19, 2010<\/strong> in the form of summaries which should not exceed one page (a second page is accepted for examples, sources and references).<\/p>\n
