Under 1000 people are able to use the <strong>language <\/strong>nowadays, and the number of people who speak <strong>Benga<\/strong> is constantly dropping. This is due in part to a progressive blend of the Benga into the neighbouring <strong>Myene<\/strong> community.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>linguistic<\/strong> categorization of <strong>Benga<\/strong> faces complexity. Similarities are found with <strong>languages <\/strong>spoken north of the <strong>Benga<\/strong> area as well as with <strong>languages<\/strong> spoken in the east (languages from the Kota-kele family).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The main traditional activity of the <strong>Benga<\/strong> people is fishing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Equatorial Guinea also counts a
