Number of speakers : <\/strong>The 2005 National Indigenous Languages Survey Report estimated the number of speakers of \u00a0Ngandi at 9.<\/p>\n

Language vitality & transmission\u00a0: <\/strong><\/p>\n

According to NILS (2005) Ngandi is \u201cno longer fully spoken\u201d. This language is on the verge of extinction.<\/p>\n

Ngukurr Community Education Centre is running a language program.<\/p>\n
